ControlTop and Two Socks are my young horses in for me to play with for my physical/mental therapy. I played with them after checking cows on foot today. Mules will certainly tell you what they prefer. I became a firm believer in the benefits of using high quality wool products on your equine. I spent a lot of money on 5-Star saddle pads and a gorgeous mohair cinch. But what does Ruby like? Waffle weave neoprene. She prefers my Abetta cinch – I think it’s an “Aire-Grip”. I believe one of her favorite features of it is the elastic ends. I also use the Cashel off-billet with elastic. She also likes the waffle-weave – it seems to be soft, breathes ok...

It's been quite a while since I logged into this website. It's changed alot, but the Blog will be a good therapy for me. Those who've known me in the past know that I am an avid horseman, and spent most days horseback, working cattle, roping, trail riding in the wilderness, or riding dressage, jumping fences or just spending quality time in the corral or pastures with my critters. Wow today Mocha my horse did so good today. She was being a brat at first because she was away from her friend and she kept bucking when I was lunging her, so I took her out out into the pasture and she was calm finally so I got her warmed up and then I trotted her for a long time because my 4H team is going on a 25 mile trail ride so I have to condition her for that seeing how she is a TUBBY. SHe also was backing up really good and I was really proud of her. After I was done she actually had sweat...
