When
a horse and rider competes in the hunter division it should look smooth and
easy.
Ø
The horse should move in a manners that is light and flowing
without being hurried.
Ø
The horse should jump in a manner that is athletic, but
controlled.
Ø
The horses knees should come up well below the horses chin,
and should not dangle below the shoulder
of the horse
Ø
All the jumps on the course should be from a consistent take off
point (Not short or long, or faint)
Ø
On the flat you will want your horse to be in a comfortable
relaxed frame ( Not a tight dressage style frame)
Ø
You want your horse to move forward smoothly, and cover the ground
well in a relaxed manner
