I have a helmet for five years, and fell a few times but didn't crack, but a year ago I fell and didn't hit the ground hard it crack a bit then today when I went for a ride I notice that it had a big crack? I know that I have to replace, but Troxel only has a replaceing for the helmets for two from the day that your purchased, I look on the company Troxel and they say to replace the halmet every five years even it not have a crack, which makes sense to me. But it is time for a new one I am glad that they are on sale at Green Hawk until end of the month. And maybe taking care of it more better like sortage it the house than the cold tack house, plus I will look for any sign of damage inside the halmet to see if I need to get a new halmet.
