I'm finally part of the horse-crazy-owners world. I'm still in shock. I'm glad I got here though! It took 12 lonk years, but my parents are building a stall off the back of the garage(I know it sounds like it's a little home project, unsuitable for living conditions fo a horse, but it's very nicce, just trust me here) for me to put the horse which is now half mine. We went to give her owner half the money to day so that I could assure she's mine. I got to bring home her saddle and bridle so I could get them cleaned up seen as how the tack's been sitting in a garage for a year, gathering dust. Okay, about her. My horse-it feels so good to finally say that- is a Palamino 4 1/2 yo part paint, part QH, partmystery breed names Baby. She was starved to skin and bones before her current-or should I say previous- owner got her. The only reason her owner's selling her is becaus e he's moving adn getting a divorce so now he knows that she's not goingto be mistreated liek she would if she was left at his hous ewith just his wifeto care for her. She needs a little work wnder the saddle but my trainer that gives me lessons said that it will only take about a week to finish breaking her. YAYYY!! The stall isn't built yet so she has to go to my trainers house for about a month while it gets built but I can ride Baby when I'm down there at her house. iwould post pictures but I'm not sure how. Sorry.
I spend my time learning about horses, not computers.
Another thing is that I'm getting, actually has already got, a mini donkey to keep Baby company since I can't be out there with her 24/7. The only thing with the donkey is she needs a name and I don't what to name her or what to feed her. I have some names picked out alread y but can't decide. So far there's Eeyore (keep in mind it's a female), Misty, Magic, Koala, Jazzie and Furby. If you want to give suggestions on her name that would be great!
Finally one of you,
Angela
