EASTERN OREGON LIVING!!!!

I am tired of not being able to get information on real living in eastern Oregon. Particularly about the baker county and surrounding areas. I want to know from people who make a living over there out in the country. How do people deal with snakes riding in the heat and how do you deal with the weather over there! And what about low income rate?(fact or fiction?) Is there anybody out there with any info PLEASE??!!!

I lived in that area for a bit and am not too far away now. I rarely see snakes and if I do I just ride clear around them. The heat isnt bad at all. It isnt like Arizona or somehting. The income rate may be low but so is the cost of living.

I ride western/English/bareback. I like living in the country but for me I still don't live far enough out. I love horses with all my heart and want to do something for besides just saying I love them. Which is why I want a ranch for horses and mules. If all we do is stand in the background we lose our chance to do what we were meant to do. That goes for all of life as well as horse rescueing.
