Journey to Championship- Touch Me Not's Training and Show Blog
This blog is about my journey in training and showing horses, amateur owned and trained, as a vision-impaired handler with severe damage to my eye; and the 17 magnificent Tennessee Walking Horses that are either currently or have been taking the journey with me-- and in fact, have been creating the journey for me. I hope to share the tremendous excitement of showing both halter horses and saddle horses, and the mindset and techniques I use to overcome setbacks and keep myself committed and "on purpose" after continuing eye surgeries and procedures. I hope other amateurs that train their own show horses and other handlers/riders with disabilities will join in and comment.
