    I'm back!!

And I know I've been missed by the plethora of PMs in my Inbox! I'll get back to each and every one of you!! Grin

Kelowna (Okanagan BC, read: resort heaven) was great! We looked at some property, went swimming in the pool while sipping margueritas, the hubs and kids went parasailing while I had palpatations down in the boat (MAJOR fear of heights), we went waterskiing and tubing - I finally learned to drive a boat and I can safely say I am as much of a terror in water traffic as I am in auto traffic, but nobody even came close to getting hurt and I LOVED LOVED LOVED the feeling of driving a boat! I'm hooked!! Too right! LOL The kids tried out their skills as Mini Grand Prix drivers as the go-karts and our last day was spent leisurely floating down the lake channels on tubes - great fun!!

Things we missed doing: taking a vineyard tour of one of my favorite BC wineries, trail riding and going to the waterslide! Ah well, next time!

I did take photos - mostly scenery shots when we were way up in the nosebleeds, lol. A few candid shots of the kids. I'll share when I get them all sorted out! Wink

Wow! Sounds like you had a great time! Cool

I too have a MAJOR problem with heights.

Love water and anything related to water though. Can't wait for pics! Smile

I fully intended on doing it!! I've been before but I was 14 years old and you aren't afraid of much at that age. LOL When my turn came my heart was pounding out of my chest and my mouth had gone so dry I could barely speak. I shook my head at my husband and he ended up taking my lift with my younger son. We had already worked out that if I gave a signal, I couldn't do it. Everyone on the boat except for one nice young lady (and my own family of course) looked at me like I was crazy. One guy even razzed me about it. Apparently some people don't actually have phobias or the empathy isn't transferable if they do! Stick out tounge Stick a spider, snake or mouse in front of them and let's see who's brave? LOL LOL

Ah well. I made the appointment - that's gotta be progress, right? ROFL Grin

Welcome back. So was Kelowna boiling? I remember going there a few years ago and it was far too hot!! Must have been better weather than here, its been crappy for the whole of August.
Are you coming up for Spruce Meadows and the Masters? ie: shopping time?!!

It wasn't hot at all!! Stick out tounge They had just had some of their rare rain so it was cloudy and cooler most of the time - which was ok because our doggies spent alot of time in the truck. Still, I was looking forward to laying on the beach for a bit and revitalizing my tan. Oh well. It's been cooler here too. We just got a new air conditioner a few weeks ago and have only turned it on once! Smile

I would love to go to Spruce! We've got two big soccer tournaments though so not sure I can swing it this time. Smirk
