Hey, um, the chat isn't working anymore. It says the the free trial license has expired. Can you fix that please?

You just MIGHT want to consider changing your password since it's now posted for everyone to see.

And your post is showing up here as by Missyclare, not 808277. We all feel your pain about trying to make do with the new ES format and being frozen in time forever at whatever post ranking you had in the old forum. That's just one of many items affected by " the change" and left unattended. Also why many old posters left. Hope you get your computer / browser problems worked out. ~FH

Re: Official Q&A - Customer Service - New Forum Request

Hi Customer Service, any chance you could create the "Over 50 Gang" its own forum?  Seems like there are enough of us moldie oldies to justify it, and it sure would be easier to deal with different topics.  Thanks for your consideration.

Re: Official Q&A for the New Community- Customer Service

    Hi,

New user here - old user on dozens of other forums.  Tried posting this to the "Help" forum, but it is locked from user posts...

I'm a little confused about the Calendar feature.  I wanted to post a clinic that spans 4 days...and had to make four separate calendar entries, since each 'new calendar item' only lets you specify a single date.  This cluttered up the events forum, for which I apologize, but did not know how else to do it?  (It is the Gerd Heuschmann clinic that is posted for April 10-13, 2008.)

Also, the calendar seems to be viewable only in 'month' mode - which does not have enough space to see multiple events on the same day.  Or will it resize itself?  A week-view might be useful?

    Thanks!

    Karl

The Help forum is really just an announcements forum, not a discussion forum. You posted to the right place (here).

As far as I personally am concerned (??), your multiple posts into the calendar is understandable, and acceptable use. The Calendaring feature is quite basic, by design; what you see is what you get. We greatly appreciate your feedback, if you guys feel we should put more energy into the Calendar functionality than in other areas then we will weigh that sort of feedback. Unfortunately, we have no immediate plans to rework this, but we will certainly keep it in mind for future revisions.

Thanks, Jon.  Just glad I didn't violate your rules during the first visit. ;-)

The USDF Region 6 calendar seems to be a little more flexible.  Not sure of the link - my wife was on there yesterday.  Perhaps it is an open source thing that you can use if it ever becomes something of interest.

    Thanks again,
    Karl

When I click on the edit profile link - (just here recently) it tells me "forum not found" - is there an easy fix for this? I'd like to change my sig here eventually! :)

    Forgotten Password Link Doesn't Work

I accidentally signed off on Friday and had to sign back on to post.  I had forgotten my password and tried to use the link which was emailed to me.  IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I finally tried every password I have ever used and got back on here but the link comes up as an error.  I tried it on 4, yes 4, different computers in case mine had some sort of block on it.  This is the second time I have gone thru this as well and it didn't work last time either.  That time I only tried on my computer so I thought maybe it was just that.  I would really appreciate it if this link were fixed.  This new format is frustrating enough without links that don't work to try to log back on to the site.

This is being looked in to.  Jon (Stimpy) thinks he has found a possible answer.
