Just keep your eyes on her, she's doing more weird things tonight than usual. Been there.  PC was clear and my very experienced trained called it for later than it was, (but mini's are out of my experience range.!)

How about this...it is rumored that when pregnant women are near time, and they eat beet soup, it gets them in labor...

    Try feeding them beets!!

They get beet pulp every morning, does that count? ;)

I got my bedroom camera working last night, so no more couch nights I hope! :) STILL WAITING though!!!!

My best friend stopped by to drop something off today while I was out, and she said she gave the girls a pep talk... hope it works!

Long walks can also trigger labor with women...and bouncy car rides...and they would fit in your car LOL!

The long walks thing worked with me. i went for a walk with my husband and my dog, as I do everyday. Lets just say, by the time I got a block away from my house, we had to call an ambulance from a neighbors house. I don't know how well that would work on horses, considering they are walking most of the day. But hay, at this point it's worth a shot. LOLWink

I have a Casi update Wink Her "milk" is more amber vs clear. And it's less watery. It will still move down my hand, but not just go down like water... so I guess it's thicker or stickier... but doesn't feel STICKY when rubbed between my fingers, either. But, hay, progress!

Not much for a Casi update. She MIGHT be more jello-ie? Still amberish clearish liquid. Hubby cleaned stalls tonight while I was at my riding lesson, he said she had one mushy poop. But check out Cocoa's update!

    Re: Casi's foaling thread!

Honestly, I do NOT want a baby born right now. I'm pretty darn stressed out, and wore out... but I don't think that matters to Casi.....

She is showing the signs Cocoa did the day of her foaling! Very jello butt. No tail resistence. Vuvla relaxed, inside the upper part is red. Her milk is no longer amber. It's not as white as Cocoa's was, nor as sticky, but it IS whiter and stickier than it has been. So, maybe tonight??? I have to take a trip home anyhow for baby's eyes... sigh.... Sure hope it's an easy night at work!!!!

So, stay tuned I guess! Unless I'm just totally  nuts or Casi is NOT like Cocoa, I'm thinking a baby tonight or tomarrow!   Oh, the weird thing, her udder is hardly there, MUCH smaller than it had been, but it's easier to get fluid out of it???

    Re: Casi's foaling thread!

Could be! ;) I'm off for a week, so any day would be good, hear that Casi? ;)

Sometime this week I will be taking Cocoa and Sierra out of their stall, putting Ruby in. Her due date is May 17 and her bag has been developing. Still has a ways to go, and being an experienced broodmare, she should get a full bag first. I'll miss watching Sierra on the cam though! So cute to watch her run and play ;) So, Casi, that means let YOUR baby out so I can watch him/her! ;)
