Benspottedbefore:She is 2 years. Thanks for sharing your comments. I'll have to think about this awhile.
She's 2yrs old in those pictures? She looks younger... Anyway, IMO, she's pretty downhill for 2. A yearling, I'd be less concerned, but as a 2yr old paint that's a large looking gap and not much time to even back up. I'm also not a fan of her back. I'm not experienced with rescues and undoubtably good nutrition and conditioning can do something, I'm just not sure how much. The belly is concerning, and is probably an indicator of worms and/or poor nutrition. It's probably fixable with TLC, but it points to a hard life thus far and possible growth problems. Same with her front legs; I'm not a huge fan of how her ankles and pasterns look in some of the photos. However, she also looks like she could be way overdue for a good trim. Fixing this could fix those angles for her; it's a bit hard to tell from the pictures.
She's certainly cute. Especially her face. Depends on what you are looking for? She seems like a cute horse worth rescuing that should make a good and relatively quick recovery and be good at SOMETHING in life (at least she seems sweet and willing judging by her eye, which is not always the best indicator, but still...). If that's what you are going for then good for you; go look at her. If you are looking for something with potential to be your next *insert advanced performance discipline here* you may want to look elsewhere even if it's to another rescue foal.
