Hi guys, has anyone been reading unbridled?! I've become well and truly addicted to it!  I think it's such a good idea to release a new chapter each week - I'm always on the edge of my seat waiting!

Well, I hadn't been reading it, but now I've read all four chapters.  I feel there is a huge lack of fictional stories that include horses, so when I find one I jump on it.  I'll be reading each installment from now on!

If you're looking for another good book. Get "Hearts over Fences" It's a really good read.

Good ones I've read are "Riding Lessons" and "Flying Changes" both by Sara Gruen.

I've read Riding Lessons haven't gotten the other one yet. It was okay but I liked Hearts over Fences better. Just my opinion though. I need to go search amazon come up with some more ideas.:)

Also, I was reading some old issues of "America's Horse" that a friend gave me and in one of them it talks about a lady that writes a murder/mystery series about a QH trainer.  Her name is Michele Scott and the first book is called "Saddled With Trouble."  She has a website www.michelescott.com but I'm going to see if I can find her books at the store.

So I went to the bookstore to get Hearts Over Fences and was told that it is out of print!  Then I tried my library and they didn't have it either.  SIGH  I guess I will have to keep an eye out for it.

I'll admitt that Ive never heard of your book, but I'm an avid reader and will have to give it a read. At the expence of possably sounding childish some of my favorite horse stories are childrens books. I like authors like Rutherford Montgomery, Thomas hinkle, Hank larome, Dorothy Lyons, Margurite Henry, and of course, don't forget Walter Farley.:) 

I have to laugh. I work the grave yard shift with two others at the nursing facitily where I am employed. there is alot of slow time in between rounds because everyone is in bed, so we like to read to pass the time. One of the other employees and I are both addicted to our horse stories and are always swapping books back and forth. I often wonder what the third emloyee must think of both of us because our noses are so burried in our books she can't even get one word out of either of us!

Toni welcome to Equisearch.  Very cool that you chimed in with us about your book.  I will have to find it now.  I read two of Sara Gruens books,  Water for Elephants and Flying Changes.  I guess I liked Flying Changes since I read the whole thing in one night but it wasn't a great book.  Now I love her book Water For Elephants.  Much more interesting and well written I think and it does have horses in it they are just not as much a part of the book as Flying Changes.  Now I will have to check out Hearts Over Fences.  Is it like so many other aspects of the English equestrian world geared toward women?  Just once I would like to find MENS breeches on sale.  LOL!!!!
