As some of you may know, I sold my first horse, Sadie, to a wonderful family up in MN. It was really hard at first because I couldn't believe that after so many years of wanting a horse, I had actually sold my very first horse. Now I am doing better. I still get the stomach aches, not of wishing I still had Sadie but of just wanting to ride whenever I wanted. Her new owner keeps me very updated through emails with how she is doing and that helps a lot. Well, she sent me some recent photos of her and then I tweaked them a bit. Enjoy!

I'm so glad. It sounds like Sadie is in wonderful home.  Not riding whenever you want is tough though I miss it too. Are you taking lessons or doing other riding?

Thanks everyone for your encouraging words!! They mean a lot! Even not having her anymore has been so much more easier knowing that she has gone to an amazing family who actually loves her and updates me all the time with emails and pictures. 

And, when I visit my brother in MN, she only lives one hour south of him and she says that I can come over and visit Sadie and all her new friends!! 

Yes, I still ride every weekend at my trainers but its hard. I feel like my whole life is to live for those weekends!!

It looks like she is doing well.  I believe that it would be hard to sell your very first horse but I'm sure you did the right thing. That baby looks so cute.  Sadie is looking really good as well, and that Savannah, wow is she ever pregnant!!

 Solaris, its so weird. When I had Sadie, I could come home from school and be like, well, gotta get out and ride today. I never realized that there would be a time when I have that feeling but not being able to satisfy it.
