Okay all, you wanna see a REAL unicorn? Check this out (note that this was not edited in photoshop Wink)

And notice he's HAPPY and relaxed, even if he is *gasp* ridden with a bit sometimes. I mean, does that unicorn look tense to anyone? I don't see it...

Um....I think he's only part unicorn or something...I mean...shouldn't he have a rainbow mane and tail or something?

He looks kinda sad to me.  I think he's feeling inferior due to his the small size of his horn.  Poor guy.

How can he NOT be a unicorn? He's even got the feathery feet and the horn! You all were just miss informed that real unicorns were supposed to have rainbow colors in their manes. Their manes have to be striped Wink

    RedSox:

Is it rational for a horse to jump over an obstacle?

NO, why would he, when he can just walk around it.

Gee RedSox, I found this picture on the Nevzorov website, it's of Alexander's horse Lipisina. Guess you'd better call him and explain that it's not rational for a horse to jump over an obstacle and all...you know...since you know everything and you are "not wrong."

Re: Why are we still doing this?!?!

Since I felt like torturing myself this afternoon and reading more of the Nevzorov website, I found the following information that I was wondering if you can explain. Since you are "not wrong" and everything.

"The School warns you that performance of everything that is shown is possible only after acquiring thorough knowledge of the School. Trying to imitate the School relationship between horse and man without this knowledge is extremely dangerous for the health and life of both man and horse."

Funny, I remember you saying that you lived in Russia at one point, but I never remember you saying anything about training in Nevzorov's "school". Don't you think you should take his advice and not attempt any Nevzorov principles until you go to train with him? I guess that means, you should stay away from horses completely unitl you go back to Russia to train with him.

Anyone want to donate for a ticket?

The "snot bag" situation aside, calling names just brings you down to RedSox's level and that's a place none of us wants to be!

Her single-minded determination to rid the world of equestrian sports and refusal to acknowledge or debate contradictory information and situations that are far worse than bits with anything other than photoshopped** pictures and flawed marketing ploys makes me seriously consider that Sox missed riding the longest bus to school.

**All those that caught the photoshopped blood raise their hands!!

You are very correct here.  Trust me, I didn't type up a what ever and post with out putting a lot of thought into it first.  Really, I put a lot of thought into what I said and figured the only way to get my point across to a teenager was  to speak to her on her level.  I read it more then once and thought about what I was saying before I posted it.

To me it's over now.  Even if she says something again I'm not going to sink to her level with anysort of a response.

Oh, the blood isn't photo shopped, how could you EVER think people would do something like that.  People are bad and wrong, there for it had to be the the unicorns that did it. Big Smile

Unicorns would NEVER stoop to photoshopping.

Oh, I was an evil owner today.  I not only rode Bailey in a bit, but I had to assist him in putting his tongue back under it when he insisted on playing with it.  He much prefers the pelham, but since USEF won't let us show in one, we're trying the snaffle and all he does is play with it.

THEN, since we need to condition our fat asses (well my ass, his cresty neck) I decided to do 2-point at a walk.   I dropped the reins and let him wander the ring.  I begged and begged him, but he refused to listen and walked right down the line of ground poles and over the tiny cross rail.  My hands were out to the sides and I swear I heard him LOL at me.  We must have wandered for 20 minutes (for which I will pay in the AM).

We did a bit of trot work and a few strides of his amazing canter then it was time for his supper.

I did feel bad for Bug.  She was pacing the fenceline, having a fit because I picked him over her.  I think tomorrow, a longe session will be good for her!

There are plenty of NHE reps in US, one does not have to go to Russia to train, one has to know someone in US who has trained w/him. ALSO, equestrian sports are dying and you guys are just going to have to deal with it.

But RedSox, you HAVEN'T trained with any of them either! So take Alexander's advice and don't try it until you actually LEARN about it...and reading about it on his website does not count.

    RedSox:

ALSO, equestrian sports are dying and you guys are just going to have to deal with it.

???? that doesn' t even make any sense...over HALF the people here don't even horse show, since you only consider horse shows "equestrian sports."

AND, horses and riders in attendance at the WEF were at an ALL TIME HIGH this year, despite economic woes in this country...so how do you explain that equestrian sports are "dying???"

Thank you for once again, showing up and not giving anybody a straight, coherent answer to the questions they've given you. You really should consider a career in politics.

Does that mean you're going to go away and not come back?!?!?! YESSSSSSSSSSS! *happy dance* This is the happiest day of my life!

Why don't you try to spout your philosophies on "the chronicle of the horse" BB...there are lots more people there, and they're ALL involved in evil, bit-using equestrian sports. I would LOVE to see them discuss it with you, since they're not morons like us! Good luck!

Aw dammit, she's leaving? I JUST got back from a long trip abroad (conference of Silly Arguments... I highlighted portions of this one, and other ministers and cabinet members were quite impressed). I was going to do a follow-up presentation via web/tele-conference next week.

Though I suppose the "Nanny Nanny Boo Boo" stance and the "I AM SO RIGHT! Phbbbbbbt!" theory that the OP uses, as well as its results, can be seen more clearly if I just provide the ICoSA (international conference of Silly Arguments) members with a link to this thread. I am sure the delegates from Russia will be quite proud of their protege.
