I haven't been on here in ages with school and riding but I'm back. So I decided to give you guys an update and beware it might be long....
Well, on January 3, 2008 I got my first horse Brickens. He is truly my dream horse and I love him to bits. I had been leasing Brickens since about September or Novemberish and we just fell in love right away. He has such a great personality, well most of the time. He loves to give me kisses and starts begging whenever my mom comes into the barn. Also, whenever another horse gets near me in the pasture he charges that horse and chases them away from me and then he comes back and nuzzles me like he just saved my life. My riding has really improved since I started riding Brickens and I've even taken him to a few shows already. In my first one with Brickens I didn't do to well I think it was because I was so nervous. In my second show with him I did awesome I got first place in both of my jumper classes and the championship ribbon in that class. Then in the flat I got second and fourth place. Then in the hunter/jumper classes I got a couple firsts, seconds, and thirds. In the third show I did alright I got fourth in both flat classes. A second and fourth in jumpers and then I got all seconds in the hunter/jumper classes. I have really come a long way in my riding on Brickens it's been awesome. But right now I have to take a 1 month break from riding because of some back problems and I'm devastated. I'm still going to go up and visit Brickens a few times a week and I'll probably have a friend of mine ride him if she wants. Now onto the pics...
