As a lot of you know my family is looking for a new cat to replace Bubba. We have been looking on many of shelters websites that are located here in Pittsburgh. The cats we’ve been looking at are in the 1-2 yr old range, and mostly male cats that have been fixed. We’ve found three possible adoptees that we're going to go take a look at either Saturday or Sunday. They all don't mind dogs which is good since we have two of them.

We’ll be taking the dogs with us to do a pet introduction to make sure everyone gets along before we bring a new cat into the house.

My suggestion would be Oreo, I've heard it said that it is harder to find homes for black and black and white cats than it is for any other color.  Good luck in finding a new kitty friend.

I think all three boys are terribly handsome! I am partial to ginger kitties, tho' LOL.  I'd say pick the one who "clicks" the best with you and the dogs.  Good luck tomorrow and let us know who is coming home with you.  And of course you know we expect lots of pics

I'm afraid Tigger would have to come home with me if I were looking for a new kitty friend.  The most important part will be who blends best with your family.  Can't wait to new who the new member(s?) of the family will be.

My mom and I went up to PetSmart to see what they had for cats before we go look at Tiger, Oreo, and Teddy later this week.

We really didn't see anything that we liked except for a little black cat named Sparky but we don't know if he likes dogs or not. His information didn't say if he did or not.

We'll know prob know later this week which cat is coming home with us.

We're still currently looking for a new one.

We'll be going to another shelter this weekend.

One of the rescues is actually coming down to the school where I go and they're bringing some animals with them so my mom and I might run over to where they'll be when I'm done with my morning class Friday.

My mom has also contacted one of her friends here at the school to see if she knew of anyone who has cats and are looking for homes for any. Come to find out her friend has a friend who's cat just had kittens a while ago. Mom's friend is going to get back to us to see if we could have one of them.

So everyone cross their fingers.
