Mom called the shelter where he's located and he's a bit pricey since he's a kitten.

He sure is cute though.

Keep in mind that the price from a shelter also includes the neuter price and shots in most cases.  You would have to spend that money to have it done yourself.

 I love that cat. He's soooo cute. DD has a point about the shots and neutering. Neutering alone will probably cost how much the kitten is. Good Luck. Hope you find that special kitty.

Oh I know we paid close to $200 when we adopted our dog Jordan a year ago.

OK, the weekend is almost over, which kitty is coming home with you?  ALL of them?  LOL!!!!!  I can't really look at the cats/kittens up for adoption at PetSmart when I am there because there is always at least one I want to bring home.  A couple/few months ago there was this GORGEOUS huge white male 2 year old who had the best face.  I really hope he found a good home.  Looking forward to seeing who the new family member is for you.

I'm like you DD, except that i can't help take a quick glance at them.... We had taken two kitties to get spayed at the humane society not too long ago. They werne't quite ready when we came to pick them up, so we walked around and looked at the kitties. A volunteer was taking out a kitten to play. After telling her we are NOT adopting, we agreed to play with said kitten. SOOOOOOOO sweet, OMG! And black, my favorite! Darn good thing he doesn't get along with other kitties, or else I would have tried to convince hubby we needed him... and we have NINETEEN house cats lol!!!!! (have a tendancy to take in unwanted kitties!)

Didn't get to go out and look this weekend.

We're going to wait till I'm done with school for the semester which is in a couple weeks.

A COUPLE OF WEEKS!!!!!  You just taunt us with the thought of getting a new kitten and then snatch it away.  See how you are!?!   LOL!  I guess I will just have to try and be patient, which I am not very good at.

We just haven't found the right one yet.

We can't get to the shelters that are downtown cuz of construction.

Maybe I'll make another trip up to PetSmart later today and see if they have anything new.
