Hello everyone,

Last weekend was my first mule show of the year.  I showed AppleJack in halter, trail, ranch riding, hunter under saddle and western pleasure.  We had some really good rides, but competition was stiff.  I did get 4th place in Hunter Under Saddle, winning back $9.50.  Guess who bought lunch that day...LOL.  My husband also showed on our friend's mule "Big Mike."  This was Heath's first mule show ever.  He got 4th place in the $250 walk/Trot Stakes Class, which had 18 entries.  I was so proud.  So I just wanted to share a few pictures from the show.

Thanks....my halter jacket and western pleasure jacket were both Ebay buys over the winter.  I was so excited to wear them.  I thought they both looked sharp.  I had such a good time and for me the ribbon really doesn't matter.  I have been working with AppleJack for almost two years now and we are finally comunicating as a team.  We had such great rides, and that is what mattered to me the most.  He is in Indianapolis and I'm in St. Louis so I don't get to ride nearly as much as I want to.  So, when I'm around him, I can't get enough.  LOL
