I haven't been here in awhile (been busy, of course), but I thought I'd stop in and tell you all about our ride today :) Up to this point Cisco hasn't done but maybe a tiny bit of cantering at a time. He wasn't quite settled enough to go there (would crow hop a lot) and he needed work on getting his balance. Today we plunged in and cantered! He did AWESOME! He was getting his balance and was going SOOO smoothly. He really loved it, too, I could tell. He LOVES to canter in the pasture and I think it excited him to canter undersaddle. He's a dream to ride at the canter :) I'm so excited!!! My boy is CANTERING undersaddle! Woohoo! Now to work on gait transitions... :)
