I bet you can answer that question, lol.  I think we have the same disease.Embarrassed

    try this to look

    https://www.blm.gov/adoptahorse/

go to online gallery and look up those #'s.

LOL Guess what I"m doing Sunday evening??? Trying out a horse! Ok, before anyone starts yelling at me... I've had Skylar for sale for awhile because I feel he's too small for even ME. I've only had two inquiries on him, both then decided he was too small. Well, someone offered a trade on a registered arab gelding who is beautiful and sounds WONDERFUL, so I figured, if I'm not having luck selling Skylar, why not trade for a horse who I CAN ride, who is already broke english/western/bridless, shown once, lots of trail experience including extreme trail trials and overnight camping on a line, ect... well, that's worth looking into I think? ;) I'll only trade if I REALLY like the arab, but if he's as good as he sounds, well, then! HAHA!

Anyhow, goign to go check out the site now and find these two and the buckskin!

And to the poster who said you felt connected looking at the buckskin's photo... I know what you mean!!! That's how it was with Radiance, I saw her photo and just KNEW I had to have her! :)

you have to go to tools and select internet options. then you have to go to the advanced tab and make sure that "TLS 1.0" is turned on in order for the website to work.

Thanks, that worked... now, what the heck is TLS 1.0???

    All three are very nice!

#1235 is one pretty horse. You can't tell in the small picture but she has one blue eye. Its really odd cause she doesn't have much white on her. She also has a pretty nice conformation.

#1329 also has good conformation. Her neck is a little short but has good muscle tone. Pretty head too. Doesn't have the big bump.

#1548 produces nicely colored babies. The baby on her side is beautiful.

#9760 looks more like a QH than a mustang. Nice.

#8295 looks as if he would be perfect for any style of english. His neck is longer than the others and his body looks like it might grow to be long and lean. With some nice long legs to match.

#8620 looks like something out of a disney movie. Like Spirit. She is beautiful and and very feminine. The second picture shows it very well.

Ok enough about other horses. If I was to adopt right now I would take 5 of them. Time is hard for me to find though.

#7991 he is beautiful to me. He has very large bones. Something about this horse is very noble. I can't think of a better word. His posture shows a very proud horse. He would probably be very hard to tame but very honest and giving once he learned who you are.

#7915 he also holds himself well. He has a look in his eye that shows a gentleness.

#1638 has nice color, body and head. He looks more red then most roans.

#3105 this horse pretty much has everything I could want. Color and muscle.

#1665 she looks like my mare color and face wise. I like her look.

What do ya'll think about my taste? Good or bad?

    Well, I liked 3105, 8620, 1665, & 1638 same as you.  But I also liked 3209, 9705 (such a sweet face), 7893, 1389, 1584, 1344, and 1388.  What's not to like - they are horses.  Big Smile

I like all you picks especially the two roans.  Color and build is a great combo and the blue looks to have a pretty good mind too.

Oh my gosh, look at the face marking on 9962.  You have to click on that one to see it but she is very unique.

And they added a mule!  I want her too.

I didn't see 5987, but some of the BLM horses are handled and/or started by prisoners.  Wink

    Re: I want horse # 1384 and 1388

I have 3 mules and one of them is as wild as anything. He pulled a wagon a couple times but never really handled. They put the harness on him in a vet stall so he couldn't do anything. I haven't done anything with him just cause I don't want to fool with him. I have 2 other mules and 4 horses to train. He is a beautiful mule but I don't have the time for him. I would sell him for $200 if someone wanted to spend the time on him. He was bought as a pair with one of my other mules for $4,000 but the other mule was the reason for spending so much. I didn't but them I kind of just ended up with them because I am the only one who actually does anything with them. The guy who really owns them really liked the wild mule at one time but he was busy working and couldn't do what needed to be done. So if anyone wants to adopt mine and promise a good home you don't even have to bid. LOL!
