Gang,

I used to use wolverine workboots that I got at at DSW as muck boots. They seemed to hold up well, until I basically ran them into the ground.

My barn owner wears (and swears by) the wolverines too. He does all his barn and ranch work in them.  We were all talking about barn footwear this past weekend.

I can remember using them when I used to work in the back of restaurant as well many yrs ago, and the farm was not as bad as the restaurant conditions were by comparison. Eventually the soles seperated and had to get rid of them. They were ugly and you wouldn't use them in shows, but since work boots are designed to be used in nasty environments, they would naturally hold up better.

 It always seems like the soles come off.  I think I'll be trying the Gatsby next time also.

Haha! :) I admit, Ariats are pretty pricey, but they are worth it! I got mine to finally start to fall apart in 2 years
