OK so I went and looked at two Zonkies today.  They are brother and sister somewhere around 2 or 3 years old, somewhere around 13 and 1/2 hands.  I am so in love.  So without further delay here they are:

The male has a lot more stripes than the female.  The legs are really defined but most of the other striping is fainter like the picture of the geldings chest.  I think they are the most awesome things I have ever seen!

Wow - they're beautiful!  Wonderful markings!

Omg, they are so cute!! I never knew such an animal existed. Even just the name makes me laugh....Zonkies. Hahahaha.

What about Zazou? (za-zoo) I love that name. Or Zora? Or, you could have my FAVE name, Zoe (pronounced with a "y" but not spelled with one) - it was my lovely little furry doggy sister's name and it means "light."

I've named the gelding Ziggy :)

I was going to suggest Zelda, but I like Zahara better :)

I didn't see you respond when Amber said "Want to jump in here Jessie?"

 And now you sneak in with "I've named the gelding Ziggy"

So you've added a zonkie to the herd?  That is so cool! And Ziggy is the perfect name for him.

For the female, I like Zoe or perhaps Zarina.
