Geez, vm, sorry to hear about your friend's horse! I can't say I love the hay new BO gets, it's fescue hay and it's stemmier than I like (considering at the old place we had GORGEOUS leafy oat hay, horsie crack). But her horses don't eat much of it because her grass is so good and I know if I really wanted something more, she would not mind at all if I brough some extra hay of my own.
