    I'm glad Lily is okay.  Kind of sweet the way she looked to you for comfort after the mean horsey beat her up. She's really bonded to you.


    She cares more about people than other horses - she is probably the only horse I've ever met that I'd genuinely say that about. Interesting since she is a Mustang, you'd think that would be the other way around. 

    Solaris - haha, my thoughts exactly. The geldings in the herd are never much of a problem, and they outnumber the mares about 7-3. I have only seen Lily act mare-ish once since coming home, and that was when a new horse was acting stud-ish.

    Good to hear Lily is ok.  She definitely took the high road on that one, you should be proud she has such a good mind.  Yay Lily!
