Sprague, I am so, so sorry.  You are a brave girl and a responsible, loving owner to think about Vanny's best interest first.  I am glad you were able to bury him at home, that way you can always have a memory place.  I can't even imagine how it feels to lose a friend of 23 years.  Most marriages don't even last that long. 

FH, you are a true friend.  It is nice to know we have you here for help and advice.  It was very kind of you to do research and call Sprague to help her with her decison.  I'm glad you're around!

 Sprague when you are ready we would love to see some pics- stories a remembrance of sorts!

Dear Sprague, I am sooo sorry for you and Vanny, I am sitting here in a hotel lobby , on a borrowed computer, but I want you to know my heart and prayers are also with you.

Oh Sprague I'm assuming the worse here as I havent time to read the updates but my heart has gone out to you and my thoughts are with you.

Just come back from the hospital, left DH there with appendicitis, had to do the ponies, she was sick all last night and had terrible pains took her to the local doc this morning and straight off to hospital - it never rains it pours!

so just ducking in quickly to say I will catch up over the weekend.

 Wow, Angie, I had that too! He'll be up and walking tomorrow morning!  They pulled me out of bed the very next morning after an emergency operation the previous evening...All should go well...

Hi all - yes my mistake DD not DH - on Thursday we sat down to dinner and I had to go out to a meeting - DD just jumps up and starts being sick - so shes throwing up all night long and still Friday morning, so I take her to the docs and they rush her off to the hospital - they operated on her last night and we waited till she was back in recovery so we got home about 12.40am - I had been at the hospital since 9.30 Friday morning - but she is good, sore but chirpy and home already - she has another week off school and is not allowed to lift anything for the next 4 weeks - so I get to do the horses all by myself!

So I'm off to a show tomorrow - have enlisted the help od DD #1 - now thats a surprise but she said she would come and strap so thats good - horsey is worked, washed, plaited and looks pretty handsome - hopefully will get some pictures tomorrow.

 right now though we are all over tired cranky and off to bed - so catchyus all later and thanks for the good vibes.

Howdy all, well we had a great day at the show - we cleaned up all the ridden classes and won the high point trophy then we did our dressage test - we came second with 68.2% only .8% off the winner and that was my fault I forgot which test we were doing and asked for a trot at A corrected him and then got it right at K so we got marked down for "breaking" but thats ok he was just super and I 'had him' underneath me all day - I didnt bother with the second test I wanted to end on a high!  One judge had me first the other 2nd with 67% and 70% - I was stoked never got 70% before ahahahah!

DD is good although still very sore and she cant do anything so I am off work looking after my little vegemite - its nice being at home playing mum!

Ok maybe I will catch some of you in chat although looks like it has been quiet around here - oh and I posted some piccies for yus to look at

Jeepers, I missed you all so much while I was for the most part without internet in Michigan.  Thank each of you so much for your thoughts and messages.  They mean a lot to me.  Spending time with SH and JG was a welcome respite during my stay.  We plan to do it again, and NEXT TIME ladies, I promise to be more fun!!!

Sprague, I didn't know until last night about your loss of Vanny.  My heart goes out to you and I'm sending you many hugs in this time of sadness. 

Amm, you are so graceful and beautiful in your pictures!  Congrats on your great performance!
