Hi, everyone!
Good to see you again, Tricia - the trip sound interesting. Any news about your possible move?
Sprague - glad you're "sort of" back. The pain will diminish, but let the memories live.
AMM - you guys look great! And good job, nice scores!
SH - Thanks for letting us know about CM. I was thinking about her the other day and wondering how she was doing. Did you get an update on Talea's training?
RC - how's the back today? Better, I hope. I heard you were getting snow, but didn't hear a thing about the fire. I'm glad they got it contained quickly. Bless the firefighters!
Everyone's Mother's Day gifts sound great! Gee, Buckster, don't you get any time off?
I think spring is finally here and we may actually get apples this year, as it doesn't look like we'll have a freeze any time soon. All the ponies are well, except Rem (my 21 Y/O) is acting stiff and sore. The vet is coming out Thursday afternoon to check him over. I can't find any specific cause and it seems that the left hind is the most sore. He doesn't have the laminitis "stance", so hopefully, that's not the problem. He does spend a fair amount of time standing in the soft dirt around the water trough or in the shed on the shavings, so that has me worried. The rest of the pen is rock hard, since all the sand has been blown off. He is barefoot and has been for two years and he was "ouchy" before the last trim three days ago. Any thoughts?
Ronnie and Cleo are doing well. I should get some new pictures. They both wear the saddle without issues and are getting over bucking on the longe line. I can lean on both and Cleo doesn't seem to mind, but Ronnie likes to move away. I'm not sure if it's that he minds the weight on his back so much, it's that we're standing still! He very much likes to be doing something all the time. He's a lot of fun and very, very quick to pick up on things. I can't wait to start riding him!
Cindy
Ronnie - I'm innocent, I tell you!
