    Fh, I wrapped her and Sassy's tail to keep them out of the mud, and to keep them from looking like their manes do.  Wink

    I will try to get some of the knots out this weekend.  I think Sandi is gonna have to roach Sunny's mane though...  It is total dreadlocks.

    Aren't those dreadlocks fun to get out, Lune??  My Sunny's mane always has a few of those twisty things - her mane is really wavy and long so it tangles and twists easily.  So far I've been able to tease them out with my fingers and detangler - I guess I've been lucky, LOL.

    I woke to no water this morning.  No, the pipes themselves didn't freeze, it was the supply line itself.  So much for heat tape and the extra insulation wrapped around it.  Fortunately turning all the faucets on full and the morning sun was enough to get it going again.  I can't wait to be out of this deep freeze and it's not even as bad here as many of you who live out in the plains or the midwest.

    Thanks ss, she really has a huge trot for a pony.  Not floaty like the arabs have, but a huge hard driving "I don't wanna be late" kind of trot.  Awesome to watch.

    Blue, leave your sink faucets trickling a bit.  Hopefully that will help keep them from freezing.  Where are the pipes that are freezing?

    Lune, the water line coming in froze down at ground level where there isn't any insulation.  The pipes in my trailer itself were fine, thank goodness.  I had a faucet dripping very slowly, but it wasn't enough to keep the main water line from freezing slightly.  I probably didn't need to (because the temps were about 20* instead of 0*), but I had several faucets dripping last night and all is fine today.  Ah, the joys of living in manufactured housing ;)

    CoolAnd there sat Sam, looking cool and calm, in the heart of the furnace roar;
    And he wore a smile you could see a mile, and he said: “Please close that door.
    It’s fine in here, but I greatly fear you’ll let in the cold and storm—
    Since I left Plumtree, down in Tennessee, it’s the first time I’ve been warm.” Paradise

    Actually, must have been rather easy for you all.  T.S. Elliot's high school subject matter...

    I'm off to bed.  One shoot-um-up dvd with William, added to standing in the cold watching pony club has done me in for one day....
