barefoot!!
i am working on keeping my horse barefoot. we are not major players--he works out everyday in a pea gravel ring and we trail ride around the area. but, when i first got him and pulled his shoes, he would limp in the ring, so, his feet have gotten solider and i rarely need a farrier. i call him every few months just to give them a bit of polish and make sure they look good and healthy. and they are beautiful, not a chip or crack at all. it only costs me 20 bucks to get the farrier to do a looksy and maybe a quick filing. i have a pair of boots for when we take it up a notch and get into some longer rougher trail rides. and can you imagine how much nicer it is to not have steel nailed to your feet? at this point i am sold on barefoot!!
now, my this or that.....hmmmmm..............
the GIANTS or the PATRIOTS!!!!
