OK, lets just call a spade a spade. Mr Poco Bueno, you are a rambling, blooming idiot. For someone that is in your opinion, a real horseman, you sure come off looking like a boob. Where is there any professionalism in your e-mail? Cause I seem to have missed it.

You should be thanking FH for taking the time to help educate us "dinks" here that you, in your busy professional carreer, wouldn't give us the time of day to help us be better horseman with our "hay burners" in our backyards. Safety is FH biggest concern for both horse and horseman if you did any kind of research before spewing out your trash talk, would see that. If getting education, guidance and help is the wrong way to go about being a better horseman, than I guess I'd rather be wrong than be big time like you.

I have been around horses my whole 45 yrs of life and I will continue to educate myself on being a better horseman. Thanks to people like FH, who happens to treat people, horses and animals with alot more respect than you dear sir.

Remember, guys, we know nothing about Poco Bueno other than what he says. As I said in another post, he might be a homebound senior who "thinks" he did all of the things he claims. From his rant at Skip, I suspect that he is nothing but a wanna-be trainer and his allegations to fame are just that, allegations. The guy's got a problem: we all saw it after his first post. I seriously hope that's true, b/c I hope no horses actually had to endure the training techniques that he espouses. 

I haven't been on in a while, but this is just too good to pass up.  BTW - Hi, everyone!!

To Mr. Professional Horseman (aka Poco Bueno) -

Would everything be okay in your world if FH simply changed his picture?  Then, you and the other "real reiners" wouldn't be offended?  As for the crap about not having enough time, as a real horseman, to play on the computer:  you seem to have plenty of time to go to horse sites and harass members - just sayin'... 

Also, the contraction of "you" and "are" is "you're", not "your".  If one is going to talk the part of being a professional, one should be also be somewhat professional in their writing.

 Wow, just wow. Why is it necessary to spew such venom to a stranger?  Why can't we just get along people?  Or why can't we listen to our mothers who taught us "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything"?

FTR - I appreciate the help and suggestions (and even the smart aleck remarks) you have given me, FH.  The OTW gang is still my favorite group of imaginery friends. Not sure what that says about me - let alone the fact I said it in public...pulling on my fire shield now.

Tis easy to sprout sh*te behind a "name" on the net - on a horsey forum - to someone you dont even know!  I see it here (on Aussie forums) all the time - cowardice!

 I just saw this thread...  I stand embarrassed for all the "real reiners". 

We all need to be reminded of the touchy-feely side of things from time to time, otherwise our horses just become tools to use,  Shame on you Poco Bueno.

Well, at least Poco Bueno had the decency to send this as a private email. I think it should have stayed private.

That being said, its never okay to scorch someone like this, especially if you have never met them and spent time with them in person. Our online personas are just that, social roles that we adopt that cannot be used to fully identify or describe our personalities.

Expressing one's opinion or objecting to a person's actions or behavior is one thing, but crossing the line into character assassination does nobody any good.

Perhaps we can take a cue from our horses: make a mean face to let someone know they've bothered us, then go right back to eating/snoozing/playing. Living in the moment is liberating, and frees the soul from the oppression of a grudge. :)

Hey can I say this?  I don't really care if that is you or not in that picture.  It doesn't really matter b/c I don't own a horse or ride and I would just put up a picture that I like not really caring that it is mine or not.  It would just be my dream horse, so the next horse pic that I find on the internet that I like I'm going to use as my profile picture. Anyways, I still give some advice (not very much) and try to help people with the knowledge that I have from reading books and from my own opinion.  I still hope you give advice b/c to me it's good advice, and I always agree with you on stuff you say.  DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT LISTEN TO PB BECAUSE WHO KNOWS WHAT HE ACTUALLY KNOWS.

Did anyone notice that Poco Bueno used to be in the horse industry? Wonder what happened... maybe his (gender assumed) crappy attitude got him kicked out. I would never let anyone with his/her attitude give me advise or touch my horse!!

what, poco bueno's gone???  wasn't he good entertainment value when it's slow in the summer?  hmm.......oh well.  guess we have to go back to reading interesting and considerate posts written by people with tact and kindness.
