    Whew, I can't believe summer is over already! I actually put my jumps away last weekend because with a full course load and shortening days I just can't keep him in jumping condition :(

    Anyways, the rest of our season went really well! I didn't do a whole lot more showing ($$ and I had HJU commitments--did you guys read my Spruce reports?) but he kept advancing really nicely at home and we schooled xc a few times just for the heck of it. 

    We slowly made our way back to about 3'3--I forgot how much of a blast this horse is to ride...he rarely hesitates, I had to remember that if in doubt, hang on and trust him!

    He's the same color as Juno, and I love grays! Keep checking him for melanomas, though. Most grays get them. Juno is getting an herbal supplement that gets rid of the melanomas, according to my vet who swears by it. I am seeing some changes in hers. Congrats on the season.

     I wish fall would get here!  It's still HOT HOT HOT down here in Texas.  Love your photos, you guys look great. Glad you had a good summer.

    I haven't found any melanomas, yet, but I know they are pretty much inevitable. What kind of herbal supplement is it?

    Jayne, ugh, you can have our fall anytime! Saying that, it has been really nice so far- we reached 30C last weekend and, as a 'fall bonus', it cools down at night! But the wind certainly has some chill to it, and as you can probably see in the pictures, he is sporting quite the winter coat already.

    The supplement is Nublada's Formula at Earth Angel Herbs--http://www.earthangelherbs.com/ --and my vet says he's seen it work. It's not a fast cure, but if it works I don't care if it takes 2 yrs. Juno has about 15-20 melanomas of different sizes under the dock of her tail, and the Cimetidine she was on before only slowed them down. The herbs eradicate them if they work on your horse. My vet suggested using them for about 6 months to see if your horse's melanomas react to the herbs.
