    Grand Entry Training Saddle

I've got the option to buy a grand entry training saddle, its brand new.
The problem is i can not for the life of me find any information on this brand of saddle.
The lady online won it at a show, shes only about an hour from where i live, so i wouldn't be buying it sight unseen, i'll go look at it.
But has anyone heard of this brand, rode in this brand or know anything of it?

    Thanks

    Here's one:

Don't know much about western saddle brands, but by looking at the price brand new doesn't look to be of high quality.  Might make an okay schooling saddle or something to start the babies in.  I would make sure it absolutely fits your horse and has a nice sound tree.

Generally if you can't find a lot of reviews or information on a brand it may be lower quality.  In my experience a western saddle that is less than $500 is lower quality - will be fine for some riding but I wouldn't make it my primary riding saddle.  I had a saddle similar to this and had issues with the rivets coming apart and the "leather" ripping.  The tree was also twisted and rubbed my horse really bad in the short amount of time I had it.

I would go in cautiously and wouldn't spend a lot of money on it.  This is mostly coming from my experience trying to save money buying a cheaper saddle...in the end I lost money because I couldn't re-sell it with out feeling like I was cheating someone.

I would pass.  Looks like they are very cheaply made, which means you could easily end up with a tree that hurts your horse.  Trust me, you DON'T want to go down that road!
