... you would rather spend all day cleaning stalls, cleaning tack and grooming horses than doing housework. Wink

Your ears perk up when you hear a song on the car radio that would be good for a freestyle.

you pay to board your horse down the street (he normally lives at home) and you spend way more time there than at home.

... you go with a co-worker to see her horse directly after work (we work in an office).  Said horse snorts dirt filled snot from the riding arena all over you from head to toe - wiping horse boogers from your face you look at your nice work clothes and say, "eh, it'll wash out...."  Stick out tongue

...when you prefer thumbing through the new fall fashions in the "blankets and coolers" section of Dover, rather than Vogue.

...when your horses have more saddle pads than you have socks.

Do you sense a theme here?

I used to win reining classes on my sister's horse back in the 60's. I went to a big horse show for the first time in many years. When I arrived at the end of the arena, a horse did a sliding stop right in front of me and started spinning, then was asked to spin faster, he got lower and lower and gave it all. The tears were streaming down my cheeks. I swear I was looking down at him. I was asked what the heck was wrong with me and all I could do was point at the horse.

...you stop and watch a commercial (or TV show you aren't interested in) because there's a horse in it. Then think about what breed it is and/or critique the rider. ("Yeah, sure that kid's never been on a horse - he just happens to have correct hand position (both hands!) for WP while galloping. Uh-huh. Perfectly natural.")

...you are disappointed when someone (IRL or in the media) mentions "riding" and then you learn they mean on a motorcycle or snowmobile.

you're watching a movie and can't get over how easy it is to count how many horses are used to play one horse.  don't they know we recognize that the markings are different?  and how come they can't use makeup so the markings match?
