We had a great day shopping yesterday.  We went to trade show called the mane event.  It's 3 days long.

There are 4 arenas with demostrations all day.  Everything you can imagine--training horses at liberty, reining, barrel racing, trail horse, dressage, jumping, saddle fitting, feeding and on and on.......

Then a trade show with probably a couple hundred booths.  and some incredible deals were to be had. 

my goal was to buy a pair of boots for my horse.  i bought the cavallo sport boots.  they are regularly $150 plus tax for a pair.  i paid $100 total for the pair plus got the gelpad cushions and the socks (i don't know what you call them), a ball cap and a hoof pick!!  i also got some sport boots and splint boots that were regular $50 each for $30 for both.

i normally hate shopping, but, i was in a shopping mood yesterday.  i could have easily spent $500 or more there.  but, i restrained myself and only came out with these items and some other small things--a book, magazines, bridle racks, shampoo......

i only spent $170.  but, if it wasn't 2 hours away, i'd go back today and buy more....LOL!!

 That sounds like a great day.  I think you did very well to restrain yourself and not spend more money. LOL.  It sounds similar to Equine Affaire.
