My buddy Beth needs help with her horse Faran. I am piecing together fb posts. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
I went out to feed him one morning and it was there. I took him to the vet and he checked everything he could think of teeth, x-rays, ultrsound and nothing shows up.
Yeah we thought of the sting thing too. And yes it was just over night. I has been there for over a two months now. My vet says if he is eating good and I can still ride him not to worry and I might not except that it keeps getting bigger. I am afraid is will start to affect his eye or something if it keeps growing. He was on dex for ten days and he had two 10 series of antibiotics already.
Ok, so this is Faran's Bump it appears over night and started the siize of a tennis ball, now it is almost the size of a softball. Has anyone ever seen this before. Doc has done radiographs twice and ultrasound. Nothing shows up. We have done a series of Dex and two of antibiotics. It is hard as a rock and it doesn't hurt him. or he doesn't act like it does. Teeth have been checked and nothing there.
