    Don't Know Why I Looked....

... at the LOPE Texas website, at their available horses (I need another horse like I need a hole in the head. And of course I found a horse I love the look of.

    The description reads:

Temps Ghostly Star: 10 year old @16.1H dark bay gelding with a star and narrow stripe. Super handsome horse! Grandson of Iron Warrior and Temperence Hill. He didn't like racing, but likes to interact with people and play, has a great personality, is showy, loves attention, and is a great friend. He is fast, and needs an experienced rider who can enjoy what he has to offer. He doesn't like to be stalled, and needs space and pasture so he doesn't get bored. Star is sound. Asking $900 Must sell due to farm closing. Located near Lone Star (in Boyd). Please contact Dan Uglow 940-433-9436.

He has Annapolis' eye.  Love that look.

I can't take him.  I hope he finds a good home.

Aww, he looks so cute! I love to look up horses for sale all the time, though I'm in no position to afford one right now! :) Of course the horses I'm most attractive to are the most expensive to feed- shires! Isn't that how it always is?:):) I hope that horse finds a good home, he looks like he's a real character!

I was almost hooked by a TB rescue, too, like you. This one was with CANTER, but fortunately I had no room for her. That's why I built only a 4-stall barn: I didn't have room for any more horses than I could exercise daily. Three was all I thought I could work per day. Donkeys take up the 4th stall.
