    Third Eyelid Removal

    My five year old paint just was diagnosed with cancer on her third eyelid.  They are going to removed the entire third eyelid.  Has anyone gone through this?  The vet said we caught it in the early stages but this is a precautionary surgery to get all the cancerous tissue.

    No, I have not, but I'd suggest also going to the Chronicle of the Horse forum. COTH is vastly larger than the EquiSearch forum and might give you more responses. Just Google it, I believe there are some vets who go to it.
