    I'm back :)

I was unable to log in for over a year, but with the help from Jayne i'm back :)
    Update on life.
I've since graduated with my associates in Business Administration, and picked up a full time job at the local grocery store (I've worked there 4 yrs, but recently been made full time)

Cb my National Show Horse is now 23 yrs old, and the most picky eater i have ever seen.Anything that turns to powder or gets dusty when he eats, he will stop eating. Purina senior he will pick at but not finish. I've put him and my other on a newer feeding program called HS-35, its a Topical that is fed over whole oats or fed alone that contains all the vitamins and minerals that a horse needs. He gets it with a scoop of Cool Calories 100 and is slowly starting to pick up weight again. CB weight tapes at 1068 but is still a tad ribby in motion.

Riley my little solid colored appy is not so little anymore now 6 this year, Since switching to HS-35 he has grown almost a full hand in height in the last 5 months, and is filling out nicely. He's not completely broke at the canter but i use him alot on the trails and he has recently figured out that playing in the ponds is loads of fun :)

I'm glad to be back and can't wait to catch up on everyones horse journeys! I've already started reading soloris's blog trying to catch up on how solo is doing.

    Hello Everyone from Michigan!!
Without my horse, im just human. Without me, my horse is just an animal. But when you put us together we become an unstoppable team!

Glad you got in Sarah and it's good to see everything is going good for you.

I recently switched Annapolis over to Triple Crown Senior feed and he's scarfing it down.  See if CB will go for it too.  Annapolis has 10 years on him and he's putting weight on again :-)

    Re: I'm back :)

Welcome back, kiddo! :)  Glad to hear CBis hanging in there and that Riley is just about all grown up.  I still have both of my mares, Vannah the all-white TWH, and Sunshine the medicine hat Paint/Arab rescue.  I've a new (well, new a year ago) job and am living close to Lewisburg, WV, but my girls are still in VA.  I just haven't found a place I like up here - there just aren't many places to board and they are either way out of my price range or are cheap for a reason.  I guess I just have to be patient and word of mouth will bring me to the right place eventually.  Until then, I'm lucky if I get to see my girls once a week and when I'm there they are attached to me like lint.  :-S  I'm looking forward to this Saturday - my farrier is scheduled and I'll have a day of horse-time.  Aaaaahhhhhhh - miss my horse-time....

    Hi Sarah,

It was nice to read your update.  I've been MIA for a while also.  Welcome back!

Heaven would no heaven be, were a horse not waiting there for me.
