 i picked my answers and then yes i did "cheat" and confirm that they were the right answers.  i wasn't sure if i should just answer with my picks and be told yes you're right, then post some questions or what??

Many eons ago, before I had ever heard of miniature horses here in the U.S., I heard about a breed of horse called the Falabella Miniature, bred in Argentina.  They appear to be a similar, but separate breed of horse.  Ever heard of them?

Speaking of ergots, has anyone seen an ergot that splits into three pieces and grows four inches long?  Star has the wierdest looking ergots I've ever seen.

 when i looked it up and what i remember from my childhood horse books, it says the falabella.  i've never seen one in real life though.

that's the breed i was thinking of when i proposed the question. 

but, after looking at the 2 breed registries, i think it's a tie with the miniature pulling ahead because of einstein.  both registries say their horses have to be less than 34" high.

 He *is* very small, but then again, he's a foal.  He might grow another 4 inches yet, lol. His mom is a cutie.
