My friend's gelding took first in his division in-hand at their breed nationals last year, gorgeous horse!  The judge praised him as an example of the classic type, instead of the more refined version some are breeding now. They are a heavy draft-type breed so an appendix canadian cross would probably look like your typical draft cross type horse.
