It is quite valuable if rather dry. I have been to a George Morris clinic and while I think he is a jerk as a human, he is a tremendous horse person. None of his jerkiness really comes out in the book aside from a certain arrogance. I can more easily overcome arrogance in written text than in my face with a person yelling at me <img src="/emoticons/emotion-1.gif" alt="Smile"/>

Re: George Morris book review

i've been wanting to read this book. anyone have a old/used copy they might be willing to part w/ at a low price?

Re: George Morris book review

I've never read it before but have always heard many good comments on it.

Re: George Morris book review

I didn't read the entire thing, just what I needed at the various times I opened up, lol. It is an awesome book though. I learned alot from whatever I happened to read. It did explain things well and has helped my hunt seat. My friend is a big hunt seat rider and she swears by that book. LOL. I definitely recommend it! Someday I hope to finish the whole thing!

George Morris book review

Has anyone ever read "Hunter Seat Equitation" by George Morris?
