I nominated Annapolis this month. I just think he's a very special horse. He's 30, but thinks and acts like he's 10, even if he is getting a bit grey round the edges. He's got personality plus and over the years, we've enjoyed competing, as well as quiet hours on the trails and just spending quality time together. He's a real character and always entertaining.

His nickname is "Hef" (not Hoff) -- as in Hugh Heffner.

OK, this isn't for me, this is for my husband and Aragorn (see sig).

I am proud of my husband and his horse, Aragorn. Their Sergeant told every rider in his Mounted Enforcement Unit that they WILL enter classes in the Western States Police Olympics. Since the horse has done some jumping, David took one jumping lesson and entered Hunter Hack. HE TOOK THE BRONZE!!! :) See his pics under the tag Police Olympics.

BTW, They took the GOLD in Color Guard!!!

I uploaded a few pics of Nikki. I think she should be Horse of the Month because she has given me the confidence that I needed to really love riding again. She is there for me and very patient with me when I'm learning, but at the same time she makes me work and learn. She's not just a push button horse, I have to learn how to work with her and she has made me a better rider because of it. Plus she has a lot of attitude and I like that because so do I. :)

I still haven't figured why no one else can add pics to that gallery - I'll have Nathan take a look when he gets back from vacation.

I edited my original post with details of how people can enter -- you can upload the images to your own gallery and then send me a private message, so I can grab the image and post it in the HOTM gallery for you.

FH - I grabbed Indie Before and After and put it in the gallery, but if you'd like one of the other photos, let me know.

That should work for this month and hopefully they can tell me how to set up a gallery that everyone can post in, in time for next month!
