OMG, look at Don Carlos' canter! I would love to take a ride on that! I can't wait until my man marries me and buys me mine!

I cannot honestly critque, as I am in love with Andalusians and in that fact, blind to faults. I seriously love the look of his canter though-extension, strength, beauty. Whoo.

I like Don Magnifico too, but I believe he's only for sale to a show home, and I really have no desire to show. Plus he's private treaty, thus likely out of my price range. And because he's gaited, he'd probably be best kept intact, and I have no stallion experience. But he is really nice.

Tamino is nice, but I'm don't really like the way he moves. Seems kind of choppy. He might be different in person, but I don't see anything that I like.

Don Carlos has a full brother who's 4 now, who almost looks like his twin. Their mom, Costosa has an amazing trot, which she seems to pass on. None of their sire's other foals have this, so it must be from her.

I really like him, I just hope I can talk my dad into buying him for me. I'm still in college, and won't be finished for 2 more years. Maybe he could be an advanced graduation present.

I absolutely love this breeder! They've got some great horses, and this woman really is a sweetheart. Plus, all of her babies have a nice handle on them.

One thing with Andys and Lusitanos, you need to search for more extension in their movement. They have natural collection and an incredible natural ability to do the higher level work that requires more of the collection. Most of them, however, have problems with producing an amazing extended trot or easy going walk.

After looking at her sales page, Tamino really stood out in my mind. Look at that shoulder movement and extension at such a young age. He's one I would love to have as a dressage horse, and would definitely be one I'd check out.

He's beautiful, but if you scroll down a bit more you should see a black colt named Don Magnifico. He's a year old and has 5 gaits!!!! If I were you I would deffinately take a look at that one too.

I'm doing research on Andalusian and Lusitano breeders for a purchase in the next year or so. I have heard really good things about this breeder. If you can do it, I say go for it! Andalusians and Lusitanos are incredible horses.

Coming 2 year old Andalusian colt

I believe I've posted this horse here before, but he's a bit older now and there's some new video of him. He's the second one down, Don Carlos.

I'm looking at him as a dressage prospect, and he certainly has the bloodlines for that. The owner would let him go for less, since she's got a lot of new foals on the way and doesn't have the time for him. If I got him, I would geld him since I have no experience with stallions, already have two older mares, and don't have the money or time for showing a stallion.

He does look a bit butt high now, which would probably even out with time, since both of his parents and his full brother are put together nicely.

This is his full brother, who is currently 4, which hopefully will predict how this one will turn out. Manrico
