Anyone having this problem on EquiSearch?

When some of my coworkers view certain pages on the main EquiSearch site (not the forums), the article starts way down on the page instead of at the top of the "article well." Is anyone else having this problem? See attachment as an example.

You can view this story to see if it's happening to you:
    http://equisearch.com/horses_riding_training/english/eventing/woffordcoursewalk_031506

I'm trying to figure out why this is happening to some people and not to others. I think "HorseBooksEtc.com" is jutting out into the article which is forcing the article to start below it. If this is happening to you, please let me know your browser name and version (Internet Explorer 6.0, Netscape, AOL, etc.).

Hopefully that made sense. Please let me know if you're having problems viewing certain articles so I can try to get to the bottom of this. Thanks!

yeah, it does that for me too. Also, on the forum I have a problem with the threads being marked read after I read them sometimes, so I can't go directly to the new post.

What browser and version are you using? Does it only happen on stories with "HorseBooksEtc.com" in the left-hand column (instead of "Horse Books Etc" as the tile header)?

I'm not sure about the forum problem. Any ideas, Jayne?

Yes, it does only skip down on the horsebooksetc.com. I have IE, not sure what version.

It keeps telling me that my email is not valid..... Frown
I have given up putting a horse on or searching.
I cannot even say that I am having that problem because you need to put an email in and again it says it is not valid!

It looks okay to me, Kate. I know Cathy was having problems with the HorseBooksEtc jutting out over the article. She's on AOL, so that may be an issue.

I think the resolution may be an issue too, so if people that are having problems could include the OS, the browser and the monitor resolution it would be helpful.

Looks fine for me in FireFox 1.0.7 and IE 6.029

    Shawnee and Suristo-- Thanks!

Jayne-- Hunter is having problems, too, and she has IE, medium text size and the highest screen res. So I can't figure out why it's happening to her, too!

farrier2all-- The problem I'm talking about is with our main site, EquiSearch.com (not the classifieds part). I think you're talking about our classifieds at equisearch.equine.com. They're actually run by Equine.com. Please email orders@equine.com, and they'll be able to help you solve any problems (they're really nice, too! Smile).

It doesn't do it to me and I'm on IE Ver 6.0.29...., Windows XP and my monitor resolution is 1024x768. Hope that helps.

However I do have a problem with sometimes it marks posts read even though I've never even looked at the thread and then other times it leaves it marked as unread even though I have read the posts. Confused

Nothing's wrong with mine, the article's right up top where it should be. I use Safari. I also tried it in Internet Explorer and Firefox and it worked fine in both.

    Kate,

That's happening to me as well.

Although, it was fine when I first joined, now it's opening on either the bottom of the page or the last page of the thread.

I'm using Time Warner and Internet Explorer off Windows.

    Thanks,
