What do you use to make sigs?

So what do you use when you make a sig? I've heard about GIMP from QHAllaround, but I wanted to see some other people use too.

I also use Photoshop, but that's expensive; you can get what I think is called photoshop elements...which is the "smaller" version of photoshop that is at least a little cheaper (adobe is FAR too proud of their products). There is also PSP (paint shop pro) if you are running a PC (they don't make it for macs...grrrr); I think that's in the $150 range.

Did my later link for GIMP work?

I use Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. It's an ancient version I got off Amazon.com, but it was only $20 and I think it works great!

I'll second the vote for Photoshop Elements, from Adobe. It does *most* of what full Photoshop can do, at about 1/10th of the price!

Also, most plug-ins for Photoshop are compatible with Photoshop Elements.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS, but like the others have said, it is expensive.
