Su has one blue eye, yep. Used to creep me out, but I'm used to it now. Still can't say it's my favourite, but it does grow on you.

Pride-in-Paints, that's okay. Just had to try though! (Though she would be a good beginner horse - as in, one you can learn with, as long as you know enough not to let her get away with the bad things. Which it sure sounds like you do.)

Just for giggles, what are you asking for Sudha?

By the way, full explanation Harley stuff in on the General boards.

$1,700 Canadian (but it is a bit negotiable)

And I did read your post about him... Holy cow. Who knew he had all those issues?! Yikes. And I totally agree (and I know there are people on here who've said it) that there are too many good horses out there to waste time on one you don't like/get along with.

He seems like a nice horse, but with a "needs medium to advanced rider" and your current wants after this I wouldn't consider him. IMO, anything advertized as "needs advanced rider" or even "needs intermediate rider" should be passed up unless you are advanced and looking for a training project...are willing and capable of taking on the issues. Those phrases don't go on the calm, dependable, just get on and ride, types it sounds like you want and need from your other posts.

True. I think I need to stop looking at the multi-hued horses. Even if something is bland-looking, it could still ride well.

Okay... This girl is a nice age, nice height, neck reins, etc. Anything you see horribly wrong?

I ride high in the saddle, always saddle my own horse
still I'm every inch a lady from the outside to the core
I take the trail less traveled `cause I know where it leads
I live my life by the cowgirl creed

As for me and my horse, we will ride for the Lord!

I don't like her back end at all, any of it. The rest of her seems ok, but nothing that really strikes me. She may indeed be an ok riding horse, but I think especially for the price (looks like you are looking around 2k) you can get something with a bit nicer conformation, a bit more eye appeal, and most importantly some more specific training/skills.

What do you really want out of a horse right now? In the forseeable future? I know you have a good many things you want to dabble in, but if you had to pick one or two what would they be? Once you decide that then you look for the horse that will do it. Most all horses will dabble in things on the fun level, but if you want to pick something and work at it then you should try to find horses trained there and suitable.

All entirely too young and not broke enough IMO. I *might* consider asking for more info on the amount of training on the grulla, but that's still an age where there shouldn't be tons and they are still going to really test (in most cases).

I'd be looking for something in the 6,7,8, or older range. That way you can get a horse that has lots of miles and some good training. That doesn't mean you still can't end up improving the horse, so it's not like there is nothing to work on (I know that's important to you), but in general it's much easier to find a safe reliable mount in the 6 and up range.

60 days just is not enough for the majority of horses to be safe, get on and ride horses. They are likely reasonably safe, and should stear and know their leads, but there is still a lot of work to be done and a lot of work easily undone at that stage.

All those horses are too young and inexperienced. Sorry.

I know my perfect horse is out there. I've already found her, but she is unattainable. I love her to death, but my 4H leader sold her last April. It would be too expensive to own her anyway.

I already have Antonios Ms Tiffany bookmarked on my computer. Moses is nice, and Buddy isn't very appealing to me.
