im looking for a horse to buy and since its my first one, i was wondering if there was anything( other than the good tempermant, right age, good legs, etc.) that i needed to know

I would ask as many questions you can think of,any previous health issues, bad habits such as cribbing,how it does with other horses,stand for farrier. Make sure they ride the horse before you do.Good luck
