For those of you who remeber me...I think you'll know who I'm talking about and remeber my boys, Tank and Soldier? And for those who do not, I am devinne, and I have two trouble some boys...and almost always have a story to tell about them...not a day goes by that one either IMPRESSES me COMPLETELY or COMPLETELY devastates me!
Well....
Lately things have been easier as far as my normal life, you know, as far as family, friends, money, etcc. But, my horse life has been a little messy. My question is, Can horses be Bipolar? Because I swear Tank is. One day he is a DREAM! And the next im trying to open a gate and he rushes through taking off and tearing my boot down to the foot (top of my boot got a big old tear in them, ruined. and a painful scratch on my foot.) I love him still and basically my only comment is, I HAVE to start working with him EVERYDAY for a few hours...and maybe get some help from someone, but as far as his problems I am 90% sure I can handle it, he's just a horse who needs consistant work.
And, Soldier, my little Sweet and Sour baby. He's turning 2 on the 16th!!! I'm VERY excited!! AND BOY OH BOY IS HE LOOKING SO AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS!!! He's surprisingly shedding out a stunning GOLDEN color...(he's looking more palomino now then...just creamy white. =) And of course....I want to say....He's a real smart guy! I'm handling his hooves some now, and TOUCHING HIM ALL OVER!! (INCLUDING HIS BUTTOX!!) He doesnt offer to kick or anything...! Although I now need to not hand feed him, he's becoming a little nosey and starting to bite some, nibbling my hand. (Not being mean, he's just looking for the carrot) I am, however still falling in love a little more everyday. I'm so extremely happy by how much he trusts me now, Him and I have a bond, and he's not scared when I go in his stall or pet his head or touch his ears. Soldier has completely stole my heart, at this point I have no clue how in the world I could part with him. And, one of my other concerns was him growing, being so malnourished and neglectecd before...But I'm surprised he is sizing up to Tank now!! Tank's around 15 hands!
I'll have some more info on Soldier tomorrow, and I'm going to take some pictures of him to! (And Tank)!!! Please check tomorrow, I'll have them in another post, In general probably. =)
Thanks everyone, I you're all doing very well and your horses are happy and healthy!

Theres no experince like seeing what my boy was, and what he is. I love you Soldier.
