Shame that nobody baothered to answer you. He looks like a really cute boy. What do you want to use him for?

He is a very cute guy!!!  What I like...decent shoulder, nice kind eye, short back, decent leg structure, nice trim throatlatch.

What I'd improve: his neck to shoulder tie in is high, he has a short steepish croup, and his hocks are higher off the ground than I prefer to see. All of these could hinder his ability to properly collect, and give you smooth transitions.

He also appears weak in his front pasterns.

    He's nice! Compact, well balanced.

The one thing that is unbalancing him is the trim on his feet. His pasterns are not weak. They look like they have plenty of strength and length for a smooth ride. The problem is that the front feet in particular are flared forward...too much toe that has pulled the rest of the hoof forward, out from under his descending weight and taxing his pasterns. A regime of good balanced trims will correct this. His stride will lengthen, feet better concerted, balance improved, along with improvements in conformation.

The toes on his hinds are also long and jamming up the leg. He will stand under himself in the back trying to relieve the toe jamming, which in turn, makes him appear posty legged. Further on up, he will be holding a sem-pelvic tilt position, also to relieve the toes and why he seems steep in the croup. Its all related to the trim and the hoof he is left to land on.

The line coming down the cannon bone and the line at the heel platforms should be the same line. That's how far he is flared forward...out from under his descending weight, creating the pastern angle that does not match the shoulder...pastern getting taxed.

I've pointed out the long toes on their horses a few times (not on this one, cause I feel like a broken record)...maybe with your illustration the farrier will get them correct...

What he needs is that magic bevel!Big Smile

Put your finger tips on the table and weight them. Feel the "bow" in your fingers with the pressure? Now make a enough of a fist to put your 1st set of knuckles on the table and press. Feel it coming back into your hand? That's the force that brings the toe back,...with every step. Flares hurt. You relieve the toe with the bevel and remove the brick wall when the hoof rolls over, put the hoof down and go "wow". You'll notice the difference in how he moves...everything is flowing...immediate relief.

His hooves need a trim, and that might improve his pastern angle on his front hooves.  His front legs look a little under himself, but it's not too horrible or anything :)  He's really pretty, I have a pinto too!
