Just thought, since there's been many changes here, I'd post an update on everything. Some of these (most) have been said in previous posts, but to catch up those who didn't see those, since they were "burried" in other topics...
Obviously from my sig, and probably everyone already knows, we lost Radiance. Read "worst" or see my Friesians page on my website www.CheyAutRanch.com about that.
I sold my mini colt Jackpot. For him, I got money and an Arabian mare. Yes, I'm crazy ;) Spring's registered name is Golebica, she is just under 14.1h, bay, 14 years, and barely broke. Supposedly kids rode her, must've been leadline ;) She hasn't bucked/reared/bolted, but she is clueless of what you're asking. And VERY dancy when girthing her (no matter how slow and gentle you go) so I"m working on that. She's Polish and has good bloodlines. Cute face. She is for sale, and until she sells I plan to work on her training and show her if I can (have others I want to show more though, so...). Photos:

I sold my POA, Skylar. Friends traded horse stalls for him (which is what I planned to buy with the money from selling him so that worked out!). I know he is going to be well loved and taken care of since I know the people so well :) They're part of my drill team and they're the ones who gave us Concho (hubby's drill team horse). They are wonderful horse owners, so I'm VERY happy :)
My mini donkey, Earl, was with my trainer learning to drive. He's home now, he's funny to drive :) In Dec I'm entering him in a driving darby :)
Since Earl came home, I dropped of Summer at my trainer's. Her canter was very rushed and unbalanced, and I knew my trainer would help her better and quicker than I would. She's doing very well, her canter is much better though still fast, so they're working on slowing it when wanted by the rider :) My trainer asked if she was ever trained for reining, because appearently she has a pretty nice sliding stop! LOL I have no clue if she was!
My friend from work loves horses. Doesn't know a whole lot about them, well she didn't, she's been learning a ton from me :) So I had her come over a couple weeks ago and let her ride Cheyenne in my "arena" (where my big horses live, I put them away to ride in it so it's like an arena kinda). She's only done those "nose to butt" trail rides years ago. She walked, trotted, even did a few canter strides. Chey is NOT a horse anyone can ride, but they did great! He must like her :) These photos are from when she was first riding, she got much better towards the end but hubby went back inside by then ;) Oh, we're going on a trail ride Sat. She'll mainly be walking with a little trotting.
Oh and I started off leading, then let her loose. Before letting her trot I did the same thing.

And one more new horse. I met this beautiful boy in the begining of the year, I know his (now previous) owner. I fell in love, and he was for sale, but he was expensive: He is a 4 y/o registered Arabian gelding, Sweepstakes Nominated, had 4 months with a top Arabian trainer undersaddle, and was Region 7 Reserve Champion Halter horse! Fast forward to recently... Sometimes when I'm bored at work I look at horse classifieds. I saw him on there, CHEAP, and, well.... could NOT resist!!!
His owner moved and didn't really have the space for him (she has other horses, too) so she leased him out. She was out of town for months (visitng her sister) and when she came back and went to check on him, he was VERY skinny. The people leasing him did NOT follow her feeding instructions. So she took him back. Her husband did NOT want him back, so she had to make him cheap to find him a good home quickly (but she was picky and turned down people she didn't feel would be a good home). I was thrilled to buy him, and she was happy it's to someone she knows! :)
Here are photos of Braveheart before he was skinny, and then a little over a week ago when he got here. I took some yesterday, I think there's improvment, but not sure when I"ll get them online. The heart is to cover up the rider that isn't me ;) I'm not riding him until his weight is back where it should be.

I think that's about it...
Oh, I have two mini mares due in the begining of the year :) My camera will come online sometime in Jan. I'll let you all know when it's on! :) Both mares are appy minis in foal to my appy stallion Spin. So hoping for spots!
