They are wonderful ponies. I used to work at a Connemara Farm way back when. The one thing that stands out in my mind was when the barn manager told me to go out into the field out back, where they kept a bunch of long yearlings and older, and gave me a general discription of one of the yearling to bring in to groom. I get out there and see that there are a few that could be the one they're talking about. I grab her, bring her in, put her in the cross ties and groom her. Imagine my surprise when they come into the barn, tell me that I had grabbed the wrong one, and that this one had never been in cross ties before.
She was perfect and stood right there the whole time I was grooming her. I did go back and find the one they wanted me to grab the first time. LOL.
Here is the farm I once worked at. Some of you might have heard of Erin Go Bragh.
