    Re: Weight Loss Challenge

they are beautiful, I think they will look great together, hopefully they will be comfy!!
I had a good weekend, weighed in this morning and was dreading it cause I had eaten chips, fries, burgers, arrrggh! but actually remained the same!!
Horse trials was great, an amzing set up in the foothills of the rocky mountains, we came 5th!!!! did a pretty good dressage, clear xc, and one rail down in sj, but I was very pleased! we moved up to the open division for this event, so against some really good dressage horses, I need to work alot on dressage!! need to find a trainer to work through the winter, will have to haul to the arena in town as it will be freezing!!
well best go do some work!

    Re: Weight Loss Challenge

Exactly one pound heavier than last week. Better work a lil harder this week!

Rex stood in the trailer all by himself today with the doors closed Grin Trainer came back from vacation, so we get to start working on it again. Our trailer's a 4 horse and had 3 horse-stalls to stand in, but he didn't freak at aall by the fact that we closed the door. He was too content eating out of the hay net Stick out tounge Very proud of my baby

    Thanx SBWhisperer27!

5th!!! Woo hooo!!!! Way to go!! That's fantastic especially since you've not been doing HT that long! Grin YEay!!!

I love the shoes, but they haven't arrived yet Angry were an ebay bargain but seller said she'd take them back if they didn't fit, but fingers crossed..!

Got my show on saturday so have the day off tomorrow to bath Henry and get him sparkling. Am also picking up a new kitten tonight! She's tortie and white and we're going to call her Imi. Just hoping her and Rami get on ok. Will post pics next week.

    Have a lovely weekend!

Aw well done for Rex! That's fab - is the next step to turn on the engine and see how he does with that?

Back on the straight and narrow for you then! I have stayed the same for so long now, I'm almost given up.

    Re: Weight Loss Challenge

Thank you! I know...we have only done two HT now! I am very proud of Mr Wolf. Can't wait for the next one last weekend of july...time better hurry!!
I have been rubbish at writing on here all week and haven't replied to anyone lately! Hi to Rex and Megans grace. Welcome, hope you do a good job with the weight loss. I am stuck at the same weight and it has been ages, it is dishearting, although I can't feel too bad as I haven't been eating perfectly lately!!
I hope the shoes work out, fingers crossed for you.
Its funny how we have to take days off/half days to bath the horses!! I think my work thinks I am crazy!!!...oh well!!
Can't wait to see pic of the kitty, bet she is cute. I can't wait til we own a house cause then I want a choc labrador puppy!! already have it planned!! my parents have always had labs, and I love them!! Will have to have a kitty for mice also! It is funny here at work, I work at a coal fired power station, so everything is black!! They have a cat for the warehouse, and it started off white...but now it is pretty black! she is funny, white is the worst colour we could have here!

    Re: Weight Loss Challenge

LOL like the dalmations in 101 dalmations when they disguise themselves with coal!!

Well, the show was a success!!! Henry was very good, but a bit distracted by all the other horses he wanted to flirt with. We went clear in the 3'3" Working Hunter Class in the first round, then had a pole down in the second round but still came 4th out of 16. In the showing class he was more distracted - no jumps to get his attention! But he did well and we came 6th out of 22. So I got two pretty rosettes and Henry was a proud boy Grin

Here are the offical pics! You can see how strong Henry was being and that he DID NOT want to listen to me one bit! But it was the first show I'd ridden in the snaffle rather than the gag so I think he was great Grin OMG, sorry they are HUGE - I resized and it doesn't seemed to have worked...

Weight is still the same but I have been drinking a lot and eating lots of BBQ's so no excuses really...!

    Re: Weight Loss Challenge

Love the pictures they are great, you both look like real professionals!! Congrats on the placings you did a good job with henry being distracted!! Silly horses hey?!
Oh you are braze and talented jumping 3ft3, I am jumping 2ft 3 thinking about going to do 2ft6 next year and I think they are huge!!! which is weird cause I would think me being on a big horse, they would seem tiny! But I guess I have got older!! and I was never that keen on showjumping when I was a kid!! Maybe now I am doing a bit more I will get braver!!!and Wolfy is brazer than any other pony I ever had so that is making a good difference.
Good job on staying the same weight, sounds like a good job with all the food and drink...same here, no improvements.
I made plans with the girl where I keep my horses, that I will start going to the gym again in the fall, my excuse is that I am too busy in the summer!! which is mostly true. and I do need to go!!
Can't wait for my next competition...roll on the 28th!

Congrats at the show! Hoping to get my horse to his first show September, and so far its looking good. And yes, my trainer has been saying we need to take him somewhere in the trailer. He's been doing so good.

Lost 3 pounds this week, so 2 pounds lighter really since I gained a pound last week Smile

    Thanx SBWhisperer27!

    Re: Weight Loss Challenge

Thanks!! I have the actual photos at home - will scan and post here sometime as they are better quality and without the copyright symbol! My friend also had a black and white camera film in, so I can't wait to see the pics from that! Also me and Henry are going to be in the paper tomorrow! If the pic is a good one, I'll scan and post...

Am doing combined training in August - dressage and show jumping. the SJ will be interesting as it's the biggest I feel comfortable with - 3'6". I know Henry can jump much biiger (see how much room he's giving the jump?!) but I am a scaredy cat and don't like it!

Good luck for the 28th!! We are going to a wedding that day and it will then be ONE YEAR TILL OUR WEDDING!!! Will think of you Grin btw - the shoes are fantastic! They fit wonderfully and are much prettier than in the photos...!

    Re: Weight Loss Challenge

Sounds like you've all been having a great time!

Sorry I've been AWOL again, I've been getting in tons of riding, gardening, and playing outside with my son time. Both my dressage and H/J instructor had been really busy until a few weeks ago, and we've been making up for lost time with tons of lessons, plus it's trail season!

My weight has stayed the same, but at least I've been pretty active, and drinking plenty of water, though eating too much ice cream!

Peta, your show pictuers look lovely, and 3'6" sounds big to me! I don't think I've ever shown above 2'6"!
